The sale of energy carriers (oil, gas and related products) at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) decreased by 0.5 percent in terms of value and 57 percent in terms of volume during first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing the statistics of the IRENEX.
According to the statistics, a total of 3.81 million tons of products worth 422 trillion rials (about $1.56 billion) were sold at the IRENEX within the mentioned period.
Meanwhile in the same period last Iranian year, 8.91 million tons of energy carriers worth 424 trillion rials (about $1.57 billion) had been sold at the IRENEX.
Reportedly, the products at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) sold under the SANA exchange rate.
SANA exchange rate is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange offices, where the price of 1 euro is 317,148 rials, and the price of $1 is 271,491 rials.
As reported, in total, about 610 trillion rials (about $2.25 billion) worth of products were sold at the IRENEX in first 6 months of the current Iranian year, which is an increase of 27 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
