Turkmenistan has started manufacturing RON-98 gasoline, Shahym Abdrakhmanov, Deputy Chairman of the Turkmen Cabinet of Ministers said, Trend reported via Business Turkmenistan.
He emphasized that the fuel produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries fully complies with Euro 6 emissions standards.
According to him, the product was certified in accordance with the Euro 6 emissions standards as a result of research conducted at the Saybolt International Laboratory in the Netherlands.
Abdrakhmanov noted that work is currently underway to register this type of fuel at the "Türkmenstandartlary" main state service as a new type of petroleum product and issue a certificate of conformity.
