BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 24. The production volume of gasoline grew in Kazakhstan from January through July 2022, Trend reports via the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan.

According to the bureau, this figure amounted to 2.8 million tons, up by 5.2 percent on annual basis.

In July this year, Kazakhstan produced 351,900 tons of gasoline, which is 21.4 percent less than in July 2021, and 19 percent less in monthly terms.

During the reporting month, the country imported four tons, and in the first seven months – 537.1 tons of gasoline.

Meanwhile, according to the bureau, the volume of gasoline sales in the domestic market of Kazakhstan decreased by 26.5 percent year on year, and by 24.3 percent compared to June 2022, amounting to 327,900 tons.

From January through July this year, the gasoline sale on the domestic market increased by 8.4 percent compared to the same period of 2021, equaling 2.8 million tons.

The country exported 22,989 tons of gasoline in July 2022, and 23,898 tons – from January through July of this year.
