BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 3. An average of 186 million liters of crude oil and 170 million liters of oil products per day were transported in Iran during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2022), Executive Director of Iranian Oil Pipeline and Telecommunication Company (OPTC), Arslan Rahimi said, Trend reports citing Shana News Agency.
According to Rahimi, a total of 66.2 billion liters of crude oil and related products were transported in Iran over 6 months.
The director said that 34.5 billion liters of crude oil were transported to relevant oil refineries in the country in 6 months, which is an increase of 4.5 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year. The figure stood at 33 billion liters in the same period last Iranian year.
“Within 6 months, 31.7 billion liters of oil products were transported in the country, which is an increase of 5.66 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year. So, 30 billion liters of oil products were transported in the same period last Iranian year,” he added.
