BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 9. Eurasia’s oil production is expected to drop from 13.81 million barrels per day in 2022 to 13.36 million barrels per day in 2023, Trend reports with reference to the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).

Oil output in Eurasia is expected to further drop to 13.24 million barrels per day in 2024.

This is while in the previous report, the EIA expected Eurasia to produce 12.94 million barrels per day and 12.90 million barrels per day in 2023 and 2024, respectively.

Azerbaijan’s oil production, in particular, is expected to stand at 0.65 million barrels per day in 2023 and 2024 each, according to the report.

EIA notes that Kazakhstan will produce 2.01 million bpd in 2023 and 2.06 million bpd in 2024, respectively, while Turkmenistan’s output will amount to 0.27 million bpd in 2023 and 2024 each.

Russia’s oil production, according to the EIA report, will stand at 10.29 million bpd this year, before dropping to 10.13 million bpd in 2024.
