BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 7. Azerbaijan exported over 826.9 million tons of oil and petroleum products to Spain from January through April 2023, which is 8.95 percent of the total Azerbaijani exports of raw materials, Trend reports.
This indicator increased year-on-year by 2.14 times, or by more than 44.1 million tons.
In terms of value, Azerbaijani exports of oil and petroleum products to Spain amounted to over $526.6 million during the reporting period, which is 98.4 percent, or $261.1 million more in comparison with the same period in 2022.
Azerbaijan exported about 9.2 million tons of oil and petroleum products from January through April 2023, which is 2.6 percent less compared to the same period last year (9.5 million tons). In value terms, oil exports exceeded $5.7 billion, which is 12.7 percent, or $829.5 million less in comparison with the period from January through April 2022.
