BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 19. Azerbaijan imported 27,150 tons of RON-95 gasoline from January through April 2023, Trend reports.
According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, imports decreased by 9.4 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
RON-95 gasoline was imported in the amount of $25 million in general, which is 13.9 percent less compared to the same period of 2022.
The main volume of imports came from Russia – 18,660 tons (a decline of 63.9 percent compared to the period from January through April last year) in the amount of $16.9 million (a decrease of 69 percent).
Moreover, a total of 4,079 tons worth $4.1 million were imported from Romania and 4,400 tons worth $3.8 million were imported from Belarus.
Azerbaijan imported 99,490 tons of RON-95 gasoline in 2022, imports decreased by 32.5 percent compared to 2021. In general, RON-95 gasoline was imported in the amount of $102.5 million, which is 7.7 percent less in comparison with 2021.
