BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 25. Azerbaijan exported over 138,510 tons of crude oil and petroleum products to Vietnam from January through May 2023, which is 1.21 percent of the total export of raw materials from Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
This indicator increased by 0.54 percent (741 tons) on an annualized basis.
The value of exports of Azerbaijani oil and petroleum products to Vietnam in the specified period amounted to $85.1 million. This is 27.7 percent ($32.6 million) less compared to the same period of 2022.
Azerbaijan exported about 11.7 million tons of oil and petroleum products in general from January through May 2023, which is 3.24 percent more in comparison with the same period last year (11.3 million tons).
In value terms, oil exports exceeded $7.2 billion, which is 10.4 percent, or $83.8 million less than in the same period last year.
