BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 20. Azerbaijan exported over 1 million tons of crude oil and oil products to Israel from January through July 2023, which is 8 percent of the total volume of raw materials exported from Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
Moreover, this figure decreased by 6 percent (95,590 tons) on a year-on-year basis.
The value of Azerbaijani oil and oil products exports to Israel from January through July 2023 amounted to $822 million. This is 19 percent ($198 million) less year-on-year.
Overall, Azerbaijan exported about 15 million tons of oil and oil products from January through July 2023, which is 5 percent less year-on-year (16 million tons). In value terms, oil exports exceeded $9 billion, which is 23 percent or $2 billion less than the figure year-on-year.
