Turkmenistan's Turkmennebit State Concern increases total depth of drilled wells

ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, December 26. The Turkmennebit State Concern of Turkmenistan drilled 152,000 meters of mining rocks to launch new wells from January through November this year, Trend reports.

During this period, the state concern drilled 12,000 meters more than in the first 11 months of last year.

Furthermore, 30 of the 34 wells drilled during this period are production wells.

The highest indicators were shown by the drillers of the Nebitdag, Goturdepe, Korpeje and Ekerem drilling departments of the Turkmennebit State Concern.

Given the nation's vast oil reserves, this endeavor is significant, and it includes ambitious methods for the extraction, transportation, and export of this vital energy commodity.

According to the Turkmengaz State Concern, the country's hydrocarbon resources are estimated at more than 71 billion tons of oil equivalent. This volume includes more than 20 billion tons of oil and more than 50 trillion cubic meters of natural gas.
