The Oil Policy and Strategy of Azerbaijan have been discussed in Berlin at the international conference Opportunities for application of socio-economic and political strategy of Norway in the Caspian region, Trend reports, citing the AzerTadj new agency.
The conference was organized by the scientific-research group of the Berlin University under the support of the Science and Politics Foundation attached to the Institute of international politics and security of Germany. Officials from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Russia, Rumania, Moldova, Greece and Poland, scholars, politicians, businessmen took part in the event. Norwegian specialists informed the conference participants in detail of the Norways gas and oil industry development in the North Sea area, on ensuring national interests.
The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Germany Perviz Shahbazov made a report on the Azerbaijan energy policy significance, on export routes, oil and gas transit efficiency, the role of the oil sector in revival of the Azerbaijan economy.
