Construction and assembly work in the hydro-power station built in the Heydar Aliyev Vaykhir Water Reservoir in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is nearing to end, Azereneji state company told Trend.
At present balancing and commissioning work on the station is underway. The probing in the 0.5MW turbine is over. The commissioning of the HPS is scheduled for nearest future.
Two turbines 2 MW and 0.5 MW will be installed on HPS with the capacity of 4.5 MW.
The total budget of the new HPS is $5.8m. The project is implemented on the base of an agreement signed between the Cabinet of Ministers of Nakhchivan and Turkish companies Chengiz and Janet.
