Kazakhstan to Establish a Lab to Interpret Data Obtained as a Result of Marine Researches

Laboratory research of data, obtained as a result of joint activities of the Azerbaijani-Dutch enterprise AzeriFugro in Kazakhstan will not be carried out in Azerbaijan. Kazakhstan made a resolution on establishment of similar laboratory to carry out the interpretation of the data.

The geo-technical work was held at the order by Agip KCO. It is the company involved in the Kazakhstan sector of the Caspian Sea

Earlier the company carried out work near Atyrau city. The work will be continued next year.

The company held researches in the engineering properties of the soil in the coastal zone, as well as geotechnical work under the construction of a pipeline with the artificial island on the coast.

Part of the work was implanted last year. The laboratory researches of the data were carried out in Azerbaijan. The drilling of geotechnical wells was carried out with a barge belonging to Kazakhstan.
