SOCAR Closes Bid on Shipment of Oil Cargo from Ceyhan in June

Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Aliyev / The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has closed the bid on the sale of its own oil branded Azeri Light from the Turkish Mediterranean Port of Ceyhan. The oil is delivered to the Port via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline. SOCAR announced that trader Shell won the bid. The oil consignment, comprised of 1mln barrels of oil (or 135,000 tons), is scheduled to be shipped on 28-30 June.

On 25 May AZERI LT FOB Ceyhan oil price was $70.56 per barrel or $1.37 per barrel down as compared to previous price
