Georgia secures world-class contractor for Anaklia Deep Sea Port project

Eiffage (French civil engineering construction company) has become the general contractor of the first phase of work on the construction of the Anaklia Deep Sea Port, Anaklia Development Consortium (ADC) representative told commersant.ge, Trend reported.
As the general contractor for the Anaklia Development Consortium, Eiffage, together with partner companies, in particular ABB (Switzerland) and CRP (Georgia), will perform the first phase of construction work.
The leading construction and engineering companies of the world participated in the international tender for the selection of the general contractor. The competition was held in several stages and the choice was made in favor of Eiffage.
The French company Eiffage implemented large-scale projects such as Port of Barcelona and Port of Dakar in Spain and Senegal, bridges and railway tracks in many European countries, EuroAirport Basel Mulhouse Freiburg in Switzerland and Airport-Crete in Greece, huge bridges El Tigre Viaduct and Unibridge bridges in Colombia and the Philippines, etc.
The construction of the first Anaklia Deep Sea Port in Georgia began in December 2017.
