Georgia imports wheat and natural gas from Kazakhstan

The main export goods from Kazakhstan to Georgia are wheat and natural gas, the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan told Trend.
“In addition, equipment for processing rubber or plastics, onions, garlic, wheat or wheat-rye flour, ferrous metal products, metal structures from ferrous metals, cereals and granules of cereal grains, electric batteries are exported from Kazakhstan to Georgia,” said the ministry.
Reportedly, the main imports to Kazakhstan from Georgia are wines, freight railcars, ferroalloys, ferrous metal, hard liquors, water, including mineral and carbonated sugar, vaccines, blood serum, blood, tea.
“According to the agreements of the 10th meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee, Kazakhstan and Georgia identified priority areas for the development of cooperation in the transport sector, agriculture, the fuel and energy complex, in the field of information and communication technologies and innovations, tourism, in the scientific and educational sphere, labor and social protection of the population, cooperation in the field of healthcare, as well as further improvement of the legal framework,” the ministry said.
