Fuel prices decrease observed in Kazakhstan

Following the end of 10th month of 2019, the inflation in Kazakhstan amounted to 3.9 percent, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.

Thus, prices of food items increased by 7.2 percent since the beginning of the year, non-food items by 3.8 percent, whereas paid services prices decreased by 0.1 percent.

Since the beginning of this year, prices of rice increased by 22.5 percent, flour by 19.9 percent, cereals by 15.4 percent, potatoes 15.3 percent, bread by 13.4 percent, pasta by 9.9 percent, coffee by 9.2 percent, hard curd cheese by 8.3 percent, butter by 7.6 percent, bakery and flour products by 7.4 percent, tea by 6.3 percent.

Prices of soft drinks grew by 11.2 percent, tobacco products by 10.7 percent, alcoholic beverages by 7 percent.

Decrease of prices is observed on fresh vegetables by 14.1 percent, on granulated sugar by 14 percent.

The increase of prices is observed on horse meat by 12.9 percent, poultry meat by 11.2 percent, pork by 10.5 percent, beef by 15 percent, meat products by 9 percent, frozen fish by 16 percent, lamb by 15,6 percent.

Prices of cars increased by 5.1 percent, pharmaceuticals, construction materials by 5.8 percent, clothing and footwear by 5.3 percent, household appliances by 5.1 percent, textile products, furniture and household goods by 4.9 percent each, personal goods by 4.6 percent, detergents and cleaners by 4.5 percent.

Petrol decreased in price by 4.5 percent, liquefied gas in cylinders by 0.9 percent, diesel fuel by 0.7 percent.
