Turnover on stock market at Baku Stock Exchange grows

In November 2019, the total turnover at the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) market amounted to 866 million manat ($510.4 million), which is twice less than in the same month last year, Trend reports referring to the BSE.
Compared with the previous month this year, the volume of turnover decreased by 23.4 percent, according to the report.
In November 2019, the turnover at the debt instrument market amounted to 777 million manat ($458 million), having decreased almost twice since the beginning of the year. On an annualized basis, the volume of turnover decreased by one third.
The turnover on the stock market in November grew four times over the month and amounted to 659,300 manat (388,624), which is the best indicator since the beginning of the year and the biggest percentage share - 23.4 percent of the total volume of purchase and sale of shares for 2019.
Since the beginning of the year, the turnover on repo (repurchase) operations has almost doubled and amounted to 88.1 million manat ($51.9 million) in November. On an annualized basis, the growth on repo transactions declined 360 times.
