Foreign citizens spent 1.16 billion manat ($682.4 million) in Azerbaijan via bank cards from January through November 2019, which is 2.6 percent less than in the same period of 2018, according to the Export Review of the Azerbaijani Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications, Trend reports.
The volume of foreign citizens' transactions with bank cards in the country amounted to 90.3 million manat ($53.1 million) in November 2019, which indicates an increase by 15.6 percent compared to November 2018.
Foreign citizens spent 1.19 billion manat ($700 million) in Azerbaijan by using bank cards from January through November 2018, and 943.5 million manat ($555 million) from January through November 2017.
