The State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan is introducing a new bank card called Milli VISA Karty, said Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Gadyrgeldy Mushshikov, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenistan Today State News Agency.

The announcement was made during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

The new card will improve the country's banking sector, and also make it possible to connect the national payment system of Turkmenistan to the modern international network, said Mushshikov.

Thus, the new card is introduced in order to expand the range of non-cash payments in the country.
