The inflation was 30.4 percent in Iran in the 5th month of the current Iranian year (July 22-August 21, 2020) compared to the same month last Iranian year, Trend reports referring to the Statistical Center of Iran.
The report shows that families spent an average of 30 percent more on some products and services compared to the same month of last Iranian year.
The inflation on food, soft drinks and tobacco products in Iran was 26 percent in the 5th month, while in the non-food and services sector was 32.6 percent, according to the report.
