For the week from September 6 to September 12, remittances to Georgia increased by 11 percent on an annual basis (compared to the previous year), Trend reports with reference to TBC Research Group at Georgian TBC Bank.
The growth of inflows from the EU and the UK has increased and maintains double-digit growth rates.
As for neighboring countries, the growth rate of inflows from the Middle East (including Turkey) remains positive this week.
Cash inflows from Azerbaijan and Ukraine are showing strong growth. In addition, North American inflows remain strong.
The growth rate of inflow from Russia is still negative and declining.
