Movable and immovable property appropriated by Basisbank amounted to 17.38 million lari ($5.4 million) in the third quarter of 2020 against 12.73 million lari ($3.9 million) in the same period of last year, Trend reports via Georgian media.
It’s worth mentioning that the total assets of Basisbank made 1.73 billion lari ($534.9 million) in the corresponding period.
In the third quarter of 2019, the total assets of the bank amounted to 1.55 billion lari ($479.3 million).
According to the data for the third quarter of 2020, the movable and immovable property appropriated by the five largest banks such as Georgia Bank, TBC, Liberty Bank, VTB Bank, and Basisbank amounted to 213.62 million lari ($66.05 million).
Basisbank was established in 1993 by a group of private individuals. In 2012 Hualing Group (China) became a majority shareholder of Basisbank in order to promote and strengthen the existing and future projects of Basisbank and to enhance Chinese-Georgian economical cooperation. Basisbank provides a broad range of retail and business banking products and services.
