Iranian President announced that the government will provide the necessary amendment to the next Iranian year`s budget revenue (starts on March 21, 2021).
“According to the Supreme Leader`s remarks regarding the National Development Fund's share of oil revenues, the government will make the necessary amendments to the proposed budget revenues and at the same time apply maximum cost savings,” President Hassan Rouhani said in the government's economic coordination headquarters today on Tuesday, Trend reports citing IRNA.
According to the IRNA, the head of the Planning and Budget Organization submitted a report on the negotiations over the next Iranian year`s budget bill.
There have been significant disagreements between Rouhani’s reformist government and conservative-dominated parliament on the issues of budget reforms and resisting sanctions.
The budget for the next fiscal year was submitted to parliament earlier this month for approval amid tensions over parliament’s strategic plan to counter-sanctions.
