Iran shares data on loans issued for manufacturing enterprises in Kurdistan province

In general, 3.46 trillion rials (about $82.4 million) worth of loans have been issued to manufacturing enterprises in the industrial and agricultural sector of the Kurdistan Province (western Iran) in order to increase production since the beginning of last Iranian year (March 21, 2019) to date, Chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Kurdistan Province Mohammad Daravazmi said, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.

According to Daravazmi, about 500 billion rials (about $11.9 million) worth of loans were issued to 39 manufacturing enterprises in the industrial sector in the last Iranian year. While since the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2020), loans worth 550 billion rials (about $13 million) have been issued to 25 manufacturing enterprises in the industrial sector.

The chairman added that in addition, the loans worth 920 billion rials (about $21.9 million) have been issued to 54 manufacturing enterprises in the province in connection with employment in the industrial sector.

“A total of 1.49 trillion rials (about $35.4 million) worth of loans have been issued to 605 manufacturing enterprises to increase production in the agricultural sector since the beginning of last Iranian year,” he said.

Daravazmi noted that a decision was made to provide loans worth 117 trillion rials (about $2.78 million) to six industrial enterprises in the industrial sector of Iran's Kurdistan Province and worth 137 trillion rials (about $3.26 million) in the agricultural sector.
