The amount of tax revenues in Iran amounted to about 1.47 trillion rials (about $34.9 billion) during the first nine months of the current year (from March 20 through December 20, 2020), Trend reports citing the statistics of the Islamic Parliament Research Center (IPRC).

According to the statistics, however, the amount of tax revenues in the Iranian budget for the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2020, to March 20, 2021) was estimated at 2.04 quadrillion rials (about $48.7 billion).

"Tax payments by legal entities amounted to 399 trillion rials (about $ 9.51 billion). While in the budget, this was estimated to be 443 trillion rials (about $10.5 billion)," the statistics said.

The amount of income tax payments was 278 trillion rials (about $6.63 billion). While in the budget, this was estimated to be 347 trillion rials (about $8.26 billion), the statistics said.

According to the statistics, property tax payments amounted to 174 trillion rials (about $4.15 billion). However, this was estimated to be 84.7 trillion rials (about $2.01 billion) in the budget.

"In addition, the value of import tax payments was 107 trillion rials (about $2.55 billion). While in the budget, this was estimated to be 247 trillion rials (about $5.89 billion)," the statistics said.

At the same time, tax payments on goods and services amounted to 507 trillion rials (about $12 billion). However, this was estimated to be 921 trillion rials (about $21.9 billion) in the budget, the statistics said.

According to the statistics, the total revenues in Iran for the first 9 months were 3.71 quadrillion rials (about $88.4 billion). While the budget, this was estimated to be 5.71 quadrillion rials (about $136 billion)
