The revenues to the Azerbaijani state budget from the rent of state property and land plots last year decreased by 10 percent compared to the same indicator in 2019, Trend reports referring to the conclusion of the Azerbaijan Chamber of Accounts on the execution of the state budget for 2020.
According to the Chamber of Accounts, revenues to the Azerbaijani state budget from the rent of state property and land plots amounted to 10.3 million manat ($6.05 million) compared to the planned volume of eight million manat ($4.7 million).
The income from renting real estate of state-owned enterprises decreased by 9.9 percent, amounting to 103,700 manat ($61,000), from renting commercial real estate - by almost 1.7 million manat ($1 million), and from renting land of privatized facilities - by 8.5 million manat $5 million (decreasing by 2.5 percent).
Earlier, the Chamber of Accounts, taking into account the execution of the budget for 2020 and the partially used potential, came to the conclusion that it is possible to increase income from the rent of state property in 2021.
