Transactions worth over $58 million were registered on the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan in May 2021, Trend reports with reference to the exchange.
Transactions in both Turkmen manat and foreign currency were registered on the exchange of Turkmenistan in May.
Thus, in foreign currency transactions worth more than $28.6 million were registered on the exchange in May.
Meanwhile, transactions in the national currency of more than 102.5 million Turkmen manat ($29.4 million) were registered on exchange in May 2021.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
