The liquidity in Iran increased by 39.4 percent from the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21) to the end of the 3rd month (June 21, 2021), compared to the end of the same month last Iranian year, Trend reports citing the report of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).
According to the report, the liquidity in Iran amounted to 37 quadrillion rials (about $882 billion) at the end of 3rd month.
“While in the same period last Iranian year, this figure was 26.5 quadrillion rials (about $632 billion),” the report said.
Furthermore, the share of money in liquidity was 7.26 quadrillion rials (about $173 billion) at the end of 3rd month. This is an increase of 44.6 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year. Thus, the share of money in liquidity amounted to 5.02 quadrillion rials (about $119 billion) in the same period last Iranian year.
According to the report, the share of near-money in liquidity was 29.7 quadrillion rials (about $709 billion) within the mentioned period. This is an increase of 38.2 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
“So, the share of near-money in liquidity amounted to 21.5 quadrillion rials (about $513 billion) in the same period last Iranian year,” the report said.
