The expenditures of the state budget of Azerbaijan on subsidies increased by 17.1 percent or 85.8 million manat ($50.4 million) in the first half of 2021, compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan.
According to the ministry, expenses on subsidies for the reporting period amounted to 587.3 million manat ($345.4 million). These expenses were executed by 16.1 percent or 112.7 million manat ($66.3 million) less than the forecast and amounted to 35.5 percent of the annual forecast.
Expenditures on subsidies for the first 6 months of 2021 compared to the same period last year were executed more in January, March, May and June, and less in February and April.
In total, the expenditures of the state budget of Azerbaijan in the first half of 2020 amounted to 11.5 billion manat ($6.76 billion), decreasing on an annualized basis by 140.3 million manat ($82.5 million), or 1.2 percent.
