The cost of goods transported via sea exceeded $562.5 million in Azerbaijan from January through October 2021, which is by 13.6 percent or $67.6 million more than in the same period of last year, Trend reports citing the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee.
According to the State Customs Committee, 637.066 million tons of cargo were transported via sea from January through October 2021, which is by 17.1 percent or 131.4 million tons less than in the same period of 2020.
The export of products via pipeline increased by 20.45 percent or 46.5 million tons and exceeded 273.8 billion tons. The export value exceeded $129.2 million (an increase of 78.03 percent or $56.6 billion).
Over 363.2 million tons (a decline of 32.9 percent or 177.9 million tons) accounted for import, amounting to more than $433.3 million (an increase of 2.59 percent or $10.9 million).
Azerbaijan’s trade turnover exceeded $26.1 billion during the reporting period, including export worth over $16.8 billion, imports - over $9.3 billion.
