BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 25. Total liabilities of Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan increased by 48.7 percent as of March 31, 2022 compared to the same period in 2021, Trend reports citing the bank's balance sheet.

According to the bank’s report, the total liabilities of Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan increased by 123.4 million manat ($72.5 million) over the year to 376.9 million manat ($221.7 million).

A significant share (71.22 percent) in the structure of the bank's liabilities was made by deposits, which increased by 36.7 percent over the year - up to 247.8 million manat ($145.7 million).

At the same time, the share of deposits of legal entities in the structure of the bank's liabilities amounted to 72.84 percent. Deposits of legal entities increased by 67.06 percent over the year and amounted to 180.5 million manat ($106.1 million).

Share of deposits of individuals in the structure of liabilities of Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan made up 27.6 percent. Deposits of individuals decreased by 8.03 percent over the year, up to 67.3 million manat ($39.3 million).

The share capital of the bank amounted to 65.5 million manat ($38.5 million) as of March 31, 2022, having increased by 31 percent over the year.

Retained earnings of Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan amounted to 29.2 million manat ($17.1 million), which is 41.7 percent more than in 1Q2021. Capital reserves amounted to 6.7 million manat ($3.9 million), having increased by 49.7 percent over the year.

The total capital of the bank in 1Q2022 amounted to 101.4 million manat ($59.6 million), having increased by 35.05 percent over the year.
