BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 15. According to the results of 2Q2022, Kapital Bank took the first place among Azerbaijani banks in terms of interest income, Trend reports.
According to bank's financial report, Kapital Bank's interest income amounted to 291.3 million manat ($171.3 million) for reporting period.
It is followed by International Bank of Azerbaijan Republic (ABB) with interest income of 253.8 million manat ($149.2 million).
Pasha Bank takes up the third position with interest income in the value of 145.8 million manat ($85.7 million).
The total volume of interest income of three leading banks is 690.9 million manat ($406.4 million) or 54.93 percent of total income of all Azerbaijani banks (1.2 billion manat - $740 billion)
