BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 23. Azerbaijan's state budget revenues from state property privatization grew in 2022, Trend reports via the Ministry of Finance.

According to the ministry, this figure amounted to 115.4 million manat ($67.8 million), up by 2.4 percent on annual basis.

The state budget revenues from leasing of state property last year equaled 24.9 million manat ($14.6 million), which is 8.9 million manat ($5.2 million) or 55.6 percent more than forecasted, and 8.7 million manat ($5.1 million) or 53.7 percent more than in 2021.

Previously, the State Service on Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan said that the state budget received about 94.6 million manat ($55.6 million) from the privatization and leasing of state property from January through October 2022.

According to the service, in the first 10 months of last year, 53 auctions were held, at which shares of 14 joint-stock companies, 13 small state-owned enterprises, two unfinished objects, and 473 vehicles were privatized.

In 2021, the total state budget revenues from leasing of state property (non-residential premises and land plots) exceeded 16.2 million manat ($9.5 million).

In the meantime, the state budget received 112.7 million manat ($66.29 million) from the privatization of state property. Totally, 59 auctions were held, at which share packages of 16 joint-stock companies, 35 small state enterprises, four unfinished objects and 249 vehicles were privatized..
