BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 25. VTB Bank (Azerbaijan) has finished the first quarter of 2022 with a net profit of 2.9 million manat ($1.7 million), Trend reports citing the bank's financial report.
According to the report, this figure decreased by 46.99 percent compared to the first quarter of 2022 (5.49 million manat or $3.23 million).
The bank's net interest profit amounted to 4.7 million manat ($2.7 million), formed of interest revenues of 6.79 million manat or $3.9 million (growth of 9.08 percent) and interest expenses of 1.77 million manat ($1.04 million).
The non-interest income of the bank reached 4.7 million manat or $2.7 million (a year-over-year rise of 8.98 percent), while non-interest expenses stood at 6.08 million manat ($3.58 million).
Expenses for creating reserves to ensure possible losses totaled 2.8 million manat ($1.6 million).
In the first quarter of this year, the total assets of the bank amounted to 248.07 million manat ($145.9 million), liabilities - 164.79 million manat ($96.9 million), and total capital - 83.28 million manat ($48.9 million).
