ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, March 12. Dayhanbank State Commercial Bank has become the leading bank in Turkmenistan in terms of the number of issued cards, Trend reports.
Data from the Central Bank of Turkmenistan shows that as of the beginning of March 2024, the number of cards issued by Dayhanbank had surpassed 1.98 million.
Turkmenistan State Commercial Bank took second place with almost
1.09 million cards, followed by Halkbank Joint-Stock Commercial
Bank with 670,668 cards.
Dayhanbank primarily serves clients in various regions of the
country. Thus, the majority of the bank's cards were issued to
consumers in the Mary (592,024), Dashoguz (491,756), and Lebap
(437,189) districts.
