BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 10. Foreign direct investment (FDI) from the Netherlands to Azerbaijan amounted to $188.1 million in 2023, Trend reports.
According to calculations based on the data of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, this indicator increased by 198.7 percent, or 2.98 times, compared to the figure for 2022.
The share of FDI from the Netherlands in total FDI in Azerbaijan is 2.8 percent.
In turn, FDI from Azerbaijan to the Dutch economy amounted to $98.1 million (an increase of 70.42 percent and a share of 3.2 percent).
Meanwhile, FDI in the economy of Azerbaijan amounted to $6.6 billion by the end of 2023 (an increase of 6.1 percent).
