BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 5. The historical and cultural reserves under the State Service for Cultural Heritage Conservation, Development, and Rehabilitation under the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan hosted events dedicated to the “Green World Solidarity Year” and the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), Trend reports.
Meanwhile, it is noted that tree planting actions, excursions, intellectual contests and educational events held in the reserves spoke about the protection of the environment and green spaces, popularization, and protection of historical monuments.
Topics such as reducing the negative impact of climate change on historical monuments and the ecosystem, as well as environmental education, were touched upon.
