BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 13. Azerbaijan's Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev has discussed potential projects to develop green energy opportunities during a meeting with his Chinese counterpart, Ding Xuexiang, a source in the country's Cabinet of Ministers told Trend.
The meeting expressed satisfaction with the successful development of Azerbaijani-Chinese relations in areas such as political, trade-economic, transport-logistics, energy, agriculture, and humanitarian sectors and highlighted the Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership, adopted by the leaders of both countries this July.
Xuexiang, visiting Azerbaijan as a special representative of China to participate in the COP29 Leaders' Climate Action Summit, emphasized the importance of international efforts to advance the global 'green' agenda and discussed potential projects for developing Azerbaijan's green energy capacities.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on further deepening cooperation across a broad agenda and enriching it with new content.
