Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / A study conducted by the Information Center on Information Communication Technology revealed that local computer producers hold 63% of the market in Azerbaijan, a source stated at the Information Center on Information Communication Technology.
A number of positive changes took place in 2007 which led to the consolidation of national computer brands. There is a significant increase in the number of personal computers in Baku. The expansion of the internet infrastructure led to an increase in demand for personal computers in the regions of Azerbaijan as well, a source stated.
Researchers think that significant changes have taken place in consumers' attitude in the last few years and Azerbaijani goods are held in respect. Confidence in warranty also contributes to it which is provided almost by all local brands.
The share of local computers will further grow since the National Computer project is expected to be implemented with the help of which conditions will be created to purchase computers on favorable terms.
