Volume of IT-production and IT services rendered in Azerbaijan hits 487.1 million manat in January-June. This index increased 10.2 percent compared to 2008, the Azerbaijani statistic committee said.
Growth of production on transmission devises hit 28.7 percent, devises receiving and fixing sound and picture - 96.1 times, software - 2.3 percent, data processing - 88.5 percent, sale of computers, software - 44.7 percent, electric household appliances and radio and TV apparatus - 83.3 percent, electric communication - 12.1 percent.
Average monthly wage of information communication technologies employees increased 15.4 percent and hit 505.8 manat in January-April. Roughly 72.9 percent of employees fall on telecommunication sector. Their number increased 6.4 percent and hit 20,800 people for the last year.
