The Communications and IT Ministry's Teleradio Production Association put into operation an assembler with a capacity of 500 watts in the Jalilabad region to improve the quality of AzTV television programs, the ministry said.
The agency said the production association installed transmitters in Zakatala and Fatmai in the Absheron district to broadcast television programs on the sports channel Idman Azerbaijan.
Transmission equipment was installed at the television and radio station in Guba and Sheki to extend the broadcasting zone of private TV channels.
Lithuanian Vigintos Elektronika transmission equipment is used to expand the coverage zone.
