Azerbaijani IT Company to train staff at university level

SINAM company and the Caucasus University have signed an agreement for staff training for the ICT sector of Azerbaijan, a statement said.

According to the contract, SINAM will support the university in improving teachers' skills in ICT, organize practice for students in IT specialties, and provide technical support to the institution in various areas, including introducing a Learning Management System.

Elchin Aliyev, SINAM company head, said that the main objective was to develop human resources for the ICT sector.

"The cooperation between the university and the company follows the successful 'educational institution-business' global model and it aims to solve this problem and create real career opportunities for talented young people," Aliyev said.

Ahmet Sanich, rector of the Caucasus University, said that today the university cooperates with Azercell, Azersun, and BP to train staff for other areas. The cooperation with the IT company will fully adapt the curriculum to the needs of the real sector and train specialists.
