Uzbek state agencies' websites hacked

Several official websites of the Uzbek state agencies were hacked on Thursday, July 28, a source in governmental circles told Trend.
In particular, hackers attacked the websites of the Foreign Ministry, the "Jahon" Information Agency, and the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade at the Uzbek Foreign Ministry.
The main pages of all three Russian-language websites were hacked. Instead of the usual information, the inscription "By xTerror [email protected] SAGeeks" appeared.
Other versions of the websites of the Foreign Ministry and the "Jahon" Information Agency (English, Uzbek, and Arabic versions) are operating in normal mode. The Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade only has a Russian version website.
The "Jahon" Information Agency's website uses a CMS (Content Management System) database . The system is used by the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan, the source said.
He said that at present specialists have eliminated the consequences of the hacker attack.
