Secondary providers face problems on the Internet market. These problems may cause mergers and consolidation, Communications and IT Minister Ali Abbasov told media.
Minister said that some providers fail to render competitive tariffs for Internet services to end users.
"Certain steps are taken by the ministry as the regulatory body," he said. "These steps reduce the cost of services rendered by providers. Several small providers can not reduce the cost of services."
"Merging in this segment of the market may solve this issue," minister said.
