Students have successfully completed “Summer Internship Program-2016” announced by Azercell Telecom LLC earlier.
The certification ceremony was held with the participation of the young interns and company representatives.
Company CEO Vahid Mursaliyev noted at the event that this year 18 students from both public and private universities gained an opportunity to take the summer internship and that the interns are mainly the students of Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy, Qafqaz University and Baku State University.
He added that the program provided a unique chance for students to apply their academic knowledge in real work environment at Azercell, the leading company in telecommunications market.
Young fellows qualified as a result of multi-stage selection process were able to work and gain experience for two months in the company. Internship at Barama Project, Marketing, Legal Affairs, Finance, Information Technologies, Business Development and other organizational units enabled them to get knowledge straight from the source in telecommunications industry and become involved in exciting and demanding projects.
The interns made a five-minute presentation based on knowledge and experience they obtained during the program.
Since its first launch in 2008, 102 students have taken internship under Summer Internship program of Azercell and 15 of them have been employed by the company. Hence, the program helps for further career development of the young fellows as well.
