By Huseyn Valiyev – Trend:
An administrative building was built on Pirallahi island and the corresponding document registration procedure is being completed, Tural Karimli, executive director of High Tech Park LLC, told Trend.
Karimli added that the prepared projects of other buildings were submitted to the corresponding organizations for consideration.
"Another stage of construction work will start soon," Karimli said.
High Tech Park is being built on the Pirallahi Island. A 50-hectare land plot has been allocated for the construction of the park.
An additional building, which will be used as a showroom, where foreign vendors will be able to present their products, is planned to be built.
"A number of local companies applied for obtaining resident status and deploying the production of their products in the Pirallahi High Tech Park,” he said. “The same issue is the subject of discussions with foreign vendors.”
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the establishment of the High Tech Park Nov. 5, 2012.
