Modenis, a technical center for installation and service support of eManat payment terminals, plans to introduce its own application for mobile devices, the company told Trend.

The application will allow making online payments for utilities, mobile and fixed communication services, internet services, cable TV, etc. using bank cards.

"Development of e-payments is included in our plans for this year. The primary aim is to ensure the convenience for users. In general, the development of e-payments has not affected the number of users of our payment terminals, since there are users who prefer using them," the company said.

Presently, the total number of eManat terminals is 2,200. Over 160 payment services are available in the terminal network. The monthly number of users of eManat payment services exceeds three million people.

The eManat terminals are designed for payment of municipal services, services of stationary and mobile telephony, the internet, cable television, reception of payments on bank credits and others. They are installed in public places (business centers, waiting rooms of railway stations and airports, shopping centers and supermarkets).

Today, e-GovPay, MilliÖN, ExpressPay, ASAN Ödəniş, Easypay, Pulpay and payment terminals of the International Bank of Azerbaijan are also available in Azerbaijan.
