Azerbaijan’s SUP Accelerator center presents startups with Amazon Web Service and Segment resources, Program manager of SUP Accelerator Tariyel Agazade said in an interview with Trend.
Agazade spoke about the center’s plans for the current year and the work conducted in 2018-2019
“Their goal is to provide resources from Google and similar giant companies in Azerbaijan in the future,” the program manager added.
"Our goals for 2020 are also quite ambitious,” the program manager said. “The projects planned to be implemented this year include a number of international events, expansion of cooperation with local and foreign companies and holding of own events in Azerbaijan, which have become a tradition.”
“We plan to hold more than 50 events on various innovative topics in 2020,” Agazade said. “We will also conduct acceleration programs for startups, which is our direct responsibility."
"The economic indicators increased by several times in 2019,” Agazade added. “Therefore, we increased the number of our employees and specialists.”
“The programs related to innovations have become very popular in Azerbaijan in recent years,” the program manager added. “In this regard, we receive offers on corporate innovative programs for private and public companies. Thus, we plan to double the work team. Taking into account these aspects, I think that the company's economic indicators will also grow this year."
