The total production of computers, electronic and optical devices, and volume of services provided in this segment in Azerbaijan from January through March 2020 amounted to 4.8 million manat ($2.82 million), Trend reports referring to the country’s State Statistical Committee.
According to the committee, this indicator plunged by 70.8 percent compared to the same period of 2019.
Over the reporting period, the total output of electrical equipment made up 46.4 million manat ($27.29 million), which is 14.6 percent more than in the 1st quarter of last year.
In 2019, the volume of production of computers, electronic and optical devices, electrical equipment in Azerbaijan reached 276.8 million manat ($162.8 million).
